ABB frequency converter fault code

1. ABB inverter fault code: 0001
Cause: The output current exceeds the trip value
Measures: Check motor load, check acceleration time, check motor and motor cable (including phase sequence).
2. ABB inverter fault code: 0002
Cause: The intermediate current DC voltage is too high. The DC voltage trip of the intermediate circuit of the 200 V converter is 420 V, and the DC voltage trip of the intermediate circuit of the 400 V converter is 840V.
Measure: Check the overvoltage controller, check the steady state and transient voltage of the input power supply. Check the brake chopper and brake resistance (if any). If brake choppers and brake resistors are used, the intermediate circuit DC overvoltage control function must be disabled.
3. ABB inverter fault code: 0003
Reason: Frequency converter IGBT temperature is too high. The trip value is 135°C.
Measures: Check the surrounding environmental conditions. Check cooling air flow cooling fan? Check motor power and inverter power.
4. ABB inverter fault code: 0004
Cause: Motor cable or motor short circuit
Measure: Check the motor and motor cable
5. ABB inverter fault code: 0006
Cause: The DC voltage of the intermediate circuit is too low due to the lack of phase of the power supply, the burning of the fuse, the internal fault of the rectifier bridge or the low voltage of the power supply.
Action: Check the undervoltage controller, check the power supply and fuse.
6. ABB inverter fault code: 0007
Cause: The analog input AI1 is lower than the LIMIT defined by parameter 3021, AI1 FAULT LIMIT.
Measure: Check the parameter Settings of the fault function and check whether the voltage level of the analog control signal is correct.
7. ABB inverter fault code: 0008
Cause: Simulated input AI2 is lower than parameter 3022. AI2 FAULT LIMIT Indicates the defined limit.
Measure: Check the parameter Settings of the fault function and check whether the voltage level of the analog control signal is correct.
8. ABB inverter fault code: 0009
Cause: The motor is overheated, which may be caused by overload, too little motor power, insufficient cooling or incorrect starting data. The measured value of the motor temperature has exceeded the FAULT LIMIT defined by parameter 3504 FAULT LIMIT.
Measures: Check the rated parameters, load and cooling of the motor, check the starting data and check the setting of fault function parameters.
9. ABB converter fault code: 0010
Cause: The control panel selected as the effective control stop communication.
Measures: Check the connection of the control disk, check the parameter setting of the fault function, check the connector of the control disk, and replace the control disk on the installation board.
